Quote of the Day

"This is what I learned: that everybody is talented, original and has something important to say." - Brenda Ueland

We are just trained and taught how not to be, over the course of our lives we become convinced that we are too old to learn something new, or I have never done that so I can't try, or why bother others can do it better anyway.

In fact I have met a Taichi master who only started when he was 40 odd years old, and he was 70 odd when I met him, and I knew a Black Belt who was far from being a natural martial artist, had no rhythm or timing when he first started, but he wanted it so bad, he over come that to become one of the schools best teachers and practitioners, while others that were naturally gifted got bored and drifted off.

Everyone is talented, talent is like RAM in a computer, we all have it, it just matters how you focus it, what are you passionate about?
Everyone is original, in everything we do in our lives every day and everything is original, like snow flakes, sometimes same, but up close unique and precious.
Everyone has something important to say, we all have a voice, sometimes it's internal, but the course of our lives gives everyone a unique perspective, weather right or wrong, they can bring discussion to any topic what ever their level.
